Domain inaccessible...

Hi

I'm new to Plesk, but I think I have added a domain correctly.

I can access the domain OK and see the default Plesk index.html ("Web Server's Default Page This page is generated by Parallels Plesk Panel ........")

However, if I use file manager to do the following (httdocs)

rename index.html

create new index.html to show "hello world"

refresh browser - still see the default plesk page. Same from a different PC.

create a new file xyz.html "hello world"

The new file is not accessible.

So it looks as though virtual hosting isn't working

I've double checked in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.co.uk/httpdocs and the html files are there as expected.

Only thing which may not be correct is I assume the domain should appear as a virtual host in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf or otherwise in a specific conf in the same directory - but no sign

Any thoughts would be welcome

Updating my own post:

the default web page I am seeing ISN'T the one from index.html - I now realise it is the "You see this page because there is no Web site at this address." message.

index.html file

Always best to have a default index.htm/html page you put in for your own use after deleting the PLESK page
