Editing Mailman templates on a per domain basis

I've been searching today on how to achieve this and found the following link

http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq04.048.htp

SO as per the instructions I created a folder inside the /mailman/templates folder named

list.<domain_name>

then copied the current en/ directory into it.

edited a template file to test its working, then ran

mailman/bin/mailmanctl restart

.. nothing changed, so I tinkered with the template/en files and they responded to my changes.

So anybody know of any specifics I may be missing in getting the per domain template change to work on Pleask 7.5.1 (FC2)

Cheers !
