Enabling DNSBL forces me to use only SSL imap/pop/smtp

Hello,

After I enabled the option: Switch on spam protection based on DNS blackhole lists in my e-mail options, I'm not able to send and receive e-mails, unless I enable the SSL support for imap/pop and smtp at my clients.
If I disable DNSBL everything works as before...
Is there any explanation why do this happen?
Also, how many of you enable DNSBL ?
I used the ones suggested by Plesk: sbl.spamhaus.org;zen.spamhaus.org

I have the same issue. Anyone resolve this yet? Actually my imap works fine, but outgoing e-mails just sit in the outbox

What DNS zones are you guys using for your DNSBL, i was having similar problem and it was due to problem with the dns zones i was using. I ended up using zen.spamhaus.org which is quit adequate and that resolved the issue

What do you mean by "What DNS zones are you guys using for your DNSBL" ?
I used the option: sbl.spamhaus.org;zen.spamhaus.org in the e-mail DNSBL configuration and the e-mail stopped. It have to enable SSL in the e-mail clients to allow customer's to send and receive e-mails.
Any ideas why?

Remove sbl.spamhaus.org from the list. "zen.spamhaus.org" encompasses all of spamhaus.org. I believe the sbl site is down which would cause you a timeout.

Thanks a lot for the hint. The only problem now is that whenever I try to send an e-mail (not SSL enforce, just TLS), I get an error saying that my IP range was blocked by the CBL.

What I dont undestand is that the IP that the webpage from CBL says its mine its not! Its an IP that is not even on my IP range. I already contacted my ISP provider and they might know whats going on.
