  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Enhancing qmail with spamdyke or magic-smtpd

Hi,

We need to limit the maximal number of recipients for every e-mail message
we relay from our users.

Has anyone here used magic-smtpd or spamdyke with Plesk?

And about ART qmail replacement? Does it offer this option? If so, will I need
to remove psa-qmail package? Any issues when replacing?

TIA,

Marcus

spamdyke only deals with incoming email.

I don't think Scott has a replacement for qmail. He has project gamera (incoming only, not a replacement -- only for non-plesk servers) and a qmail-scanner RPM (which is for incoming only again, and basically is n easy way to install qmail-scanner itself, plus clamav and spamassassin)

To do what you want to do you'd need to recompile qmail from source with one or other patch designed to limit outgoing emails in one way or another (e.g. tarpitting).

Faris.
