Noticed I had missing files.
Now I get:

ERROR: com_exception
<b>Source:</b> Provider<br/><b>Description:</b> Type mismatch.

0: plib\common_func.php3:160
com->execute(NULL null, NULL null)
1: plib\common_func.php3:160
db_query(string 'select param, val from misc')
2: plib\common_func.php3:781
get_param(string 'login_timeout')
3: plib\class.Session.php:156
Session->Session()
4: auto_prepend\auth.php3:157

GlobalServe, why in the world did you upgrade to Plesk 9.0 ?

I am not judging him. My messages on this forum are all for the parallels team that have no ideea about anything.

Hi GlobalServe,

Did you manage to get plesk 9 running?
I have the same error:

ERROR: com_exception
<b>Source:</b> Provider<br/><b>Description:</b> Type mismatch.

0: plib\common_func.php3:163
com->execute(NULL null, NULL null)
1: plib\common_func.php3:163
db_query(string 'select param, val from misc')
2: plib\common_func.php3:781
get_param(string 'login_timeout')
3: plib\class.Session.php:156
Session->Session()
4: auto_prepend\auth.php3:157

Could you share your solution if you found one?

Best regards,

Jan

I have same problem with after update plesk 8.5 o 9.0.1 :(

ERROR: Exception
Unexpected end of data when read C-string from serializer.

ANY SOLUTION? REPLACE MY PLESK TO ANOTHER PANEL? :( :(

Not sure if there is a fix for that yet. I get it a couple times a day in plesk 9.0.1

Restarting Plesk CP service will allow you to login again.

no luck :(

restating my problem continue ... :(

ERROR: Exception

get_admin_password()
1: plib\constants.php3:62
require_once(string 'C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\plib\constants.php3')
2: auto_prepend\auth.php3:46

:(

Dear Parallels technical support,

When this error occurs, all plesk password protected directories on the server are accessible without a login. Kind of a security risk don't you think? I do not know how to replicate the issue, I just wake up with Plesk not accessible and this error:

ERROR: Exception
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error code 2) at Unable to connect to pipe \\.\pipe\psapipe

0: plib\constants.php3:62
get_admin_password()
1: plib\constants.php3:62
require_once(string 'C:\Program Files\Parallels\Plesk\admin\plib\constants.php3')
2: auto_prepend\auth.php3:46

Restarting the plesk service allows me to login again however all of my secure documents were available while plesk was down. Please fix this...

Faulting application plesksrv.exe, version 9.1.0.0, time stamp 0x49800b88, faulting module plesksrv.exe, version 9.1.0.0, time stamp 0x49800b88, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0006d61c, process id 0x1378, application start time 0x01c9938c094f0d50.

Any ideas?

I face with similar problem.

Plesk Management Service stopped and Plesk gives this message:

ERROR: Exception
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error code 2) at Unable to connect to pipe \\.\pipe\psapipe

0: plib\constants.php3:62
get_admin_password()
1: plib\constants.php3:62
require_once(string 'D:\Parallels\Plesk\admin\plib\constants.php3')
2: auto_prepend\auth.php3:46

After restarting Plesk Management Service, Plesk works normally. I am using Windows 2008 Server and Plesk 9.0.1.

Anyone help me?
