Hello,

Whenever i try and run the updater under the server options it throws this error ! Anyone delt with this yet ? plesk 7.5.4 on freebsd.

Undefined release.
0: /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/server/autoinstaller_install.php:14 psaerror(string "Undefined release.")

any help would be great

Sorry could someone please move this to the correct forum? i was clicking though and noticed it was oin the windows section.

Same problem here:

0: /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/server/autoinstaller_install.php:14 psaerror(string "Undefined release.")

Plesk 7.5.4 on RedHat 9.

It didn't give this error last week.

Only thing I did in between was delete the autoinstaller log files from /tmp , but I don't think that that should cause this problem.

Some (I think) relevant lines from /tmp/autoinstaller3.log:

current product installed='7.5.4'
current OS Linux RedHat 9 i686
check build for Linux RedHat 9 i386 (PSA_7.5.4/plesk-7.5.4-rh9-i386.inf3): fit

And the last line:
Exit with OK status

Edit: some more info: when I click 'updater' in plesk then autoinstaller3.log is generated. Until that point no errors. Then I click 'Plesk 7.5.4' and additional info is written to the log file (Again ending with 'Exit with OK status').
The error comes when I select a package (in my case: horde components, but all packages with 'update available' give the error) and click 'Install'.
Unfortunately, nothing is being logged at that point.

Edit: made a new thread:

RobertM, I found the cause. In my case the /usr/local partition was full.
Maybe it's the same problem on your server?
