• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved GET/POST - Flood (DDoS)

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

This is not really Plesk related but i need some input to solve that.

I have the problem that somebody Floods my community (protected by cloudflare) but because the zombie PCs don't come from one single IP my fail2ban configuration can not handle that.

So if few thousend zombie come with one GET my community is overloaded and results in a cloudflare 522 ERROR.

Because cloudflare thinks that they are real visitors nothing get challanged.

Now i want to ask the profis here what can i do to prevent that a little bit?

Thanks in advance.

PS. I can challage all "bad" countys in cloudflare but this is very suboptimal...

Maybe someone from the team can move it there in place :)

But i really need a solution for that problem :D
