  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Horde 3.3 or 3.2 or 3.1.9 for Plesk?

Hi,

I'm running plesk 8.6 on a OpenSuse 10 with Horde 3.1.7. which is quite old and has a lot of problems.

My Question:

Is there any package for plesk with more a more acutal horde/imp or an description how to change to horde 3.3 (which is released since september of this year!) or at least 3.1.9? Will give parallels any support of horde in future in Plesk, eg. follow updates in particular security updates?

bye

Horde 3.3, which is the framework the modules run inside, was only just release on 26th of September. IMP (Internet Messaging Program) is the main webmail component and that's at version 4.3 as of 26th of Sep as well. I'd suggest you will have to wait for plesk 9 before they get these updates into the plesk packages. You will find parallels are always a little way behind the latest release of any software. Integration and testing or so they say...
