Horde - slow sending mail

Hi, We are using Horde on our Plesk 8.1.

When using Horde webmail, some of our customers are complaining about how slowly it sends mail. I agree to that issue.

As a mailserver we are using hmailserver version 4.4 B-270.

Does anyone know how to speed up the mail?

This is not only a issue with mail with attatchments, but also with a short texted mail.
