  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How do I change webmail re-direct URL?

Hi,

Plesk newbie here and just started working on a 9.5.2 Server, running SmarterMail Server 6.9.3820. It hosts several domains.

When clients type webmail.theirdomain.com, they get redirected to http://mail.old-domain.com:9998/Login.aspx. DNS A records are hosted at Network Solutions and point to the IP.

That old domain has to go away.

We need to have webmail.theirdomain.com re-direct to http://mail.new-domain.com:9998/Login.aspx

I already tried changing the hostname to mail.new-domain.com but that didn't work.

How can we fix this?

Thank you for your help.
