• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

How do I map a domain to another on same server?

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a way to be able to set up domain2.co.uk as a DNS & Email domain with or without hosting, that is re-directed to a subfolder in domain1.co.uk when visited in a browser.

The key point is that it needs to keep the same URL because I have a .htaccess file in domain1.co.uk that takes requests for domain2.co.uk and has a site served up from a subfolder (mentioned above) in domain1.co.uk

Any ideas on how I might do this? I've read about Mod-rewrites, ServerAlias, vhost.conf, and to be honest I don't know which way to turn....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

It sounds like all you need to do is add domain2.co.uk as a domain alias to domain1.co.uk in Plesk.
