Hello,
Im using a hosting company which has plesk 8.3 control panel... When I had my own server I would setup my domains like this:
Domain1.com points to c:\inetpub\MyWebsite
www.Domain1.com points to c:\inetpub\MyWebsite
Domain2.com points to c:\inetpub\MyWebsite
www.Domain2.com points to c:\inetpub\MyWebsite
In windows 2000, I just went into IIS and under the virtual folders properties, I would add in a new host header for www.domain2.com and domain2.com This worked great. However now im on windows 2003 and plesk 8.3
I do have terminal services access to the box and can set it up the way I used to in IIS however should I need to move my server or rebuild it, I would like to do everything possible (permissions, host headers) in plesk itself so the backups contain all of my tweaks and changes.
does anyone know how to simulate this in plesk? And I cannot just add the domain2.com domain into plesk and then use forwarding. Search engines dont like the extra redirect.
By using host headers I got around this issue...
Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
