• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
    We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
    If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
    MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Hi,

I want to build an api on my website, I created python venv and installed flask with a simple script.

The application is running, I can access it locally but I don't know how to access it through the internet? also I am not sure if I am using nginx or apache, I think nginx. please help:

curl http://localhost:5000/v1/hello
{
"message": "Hello, World!"
}

You'll know if you're using NGINX if proxy mode is not checked under the Apache & Nginx settings for the domain you want to run your application from.

And if I'm not mistaken, the easiest way to do what you're wanting to do would be to use a proxy pass under the Additional nginx directive (in the same area as checking if proxy mode is enabled or not). You'll want to use something like the following:

NGINX:
location / {
    proxy_set_header Host $host;
    proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
    proxy_pass http://localhost:5000;
}

I'm sure someone who is smarter then me when it comes to this might give you a better suggestion but that's what I'd do.
