• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question How to change for (existing) System User for a domain/web space?

sdfs_sdfsdf

New Pleskian
Hello all,

First of all thank you for reading my post.
I wanted to ask you, as the title says, how to change the current system user of a specific domain/web space for another existing system user?.
I currently go to "Web Hosting Access" and from there I try to set the new (existing) different user but it says it already exists.

Any help?

Thank you in advance,kind regards.

If this existing system user is associated with another subscription you can't set it up for your subscription due to security reasons at least.
So, you can use new system user or remove this already existing system user first and then use it again for you subscription.
