Question How to upgrade NodeJS version 16 to 20 on Plesk(18.0.62)_CentOS7

myat.m2024

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS7.9
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.62
Please kindly guide the NodeJS version 16 to 20 on Plesk(18.0.62)_CentOS7.

Hi there, Node.js 18 and higher versions are only compatible with Linux distributions based on glibc 2.28 or later. CentOS 7 uses glibc 2.17.

You could consider upgrading your CentOS 7 server to AlmaLinux 8 with the Centos2Alma script to use Node.js version 20.

Thank you for your response.
So, Node.js 18 and 20 cannot be installed on CentOS7(Plesk 18.0.62) because glibc version cannot upgrade from 2.17 to 2.28 on CentOS7.
Am I right?
Please confirm to Answer "Yes" or "No" the following.
1) In CentOS7, can get Node.js 16 and cannot install Node.js 18 and higher versions.
2) If I want to use Node.js 20, need to upgrade OS from CentOS7 to AlmaLinux8.

Best Regards,
MM
