• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

I have a new Plesk 7.5.3 server running on CentOS 3.3. I set up a domain for SSL (I have been using Plesk for quite some time and I'm very certain I set this up correctly). The domain works correctly via http; however, when I go to https://www.domain.com I get a "Cannot find server" error.

When I restart Apache I'm getting this error:
NameVirtualHost xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443 has no VirtualHosts

(The xxx's are IP addresses of course.) It repeats the same message for all of the IPs on the server. Apache starts okay, but no https. I looked in the httpd error_log and nothing there to indicate the problem.

I should mention that the Plesk control panel is working fine, so I assume SSL is running on the server okay.

I did a search here and found a couple of threads that talk about this exact problem but no solutions. I hope someone can help.

I have done the update from atomicturtle (apache en mod_ssl) after that everything was working!

This was a stupid mistake on my part. mod_ssl was not installed. I assumed it was because the Plesk control panel was working under https. After installing mod_ssl everything is fine.
