Hello,
I have installed plesk panel 9.5.4 with centOS 5.6 and qmail.
I enabled SMTP submission port server.
Netconf file from plesk is:
When I try to test it with:
I recive that:
but looking for it, I found a way to do it:
In /etc/xinetd.d/ There is a file called smtp_psa, you will need to copy this file to another filename (in the example I'll use smtp2_psa).
Open up this file for editing (vi, note you will need to be rootly) and change the line "service smtp" to "service smtp2"
Once this is complete, you will need to modify your /etc/services file, and add the smtp2 service: "smtp2 2025/tcp mail"
Then restart xinetd. (/etc/init.d/xinetd reload)
I did it like that and I can connect via telnet with "telnet localhost 587", but when i try send an email with outlook, it doesn't work, so.. What am I supposed to do?
Regards
Thank you for your time
