Installing Plesk 10.3.1 on Amazon EC2. Problem with IP

SalvadorS

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

As I need to install Plesk in a EU instance (as you know there is a Parallels AMI in USA WEST but not in Europe)

So I create a clean Ubuntu 10.04 instance, asociate a elastic IP and install plesk. After solve a copuple of minor issues I can access to the control panel perfectly.

So first I want to add a domain. I follow this steps:

1.- Add the elastic IP as shared IP to tools and Utillities -> IP Adresses

Here I have already a IP (local IP) 10.234.xxx.xxx shared which is the primary IP address of a network interface.

I add the elastic IP as a shared IP 79.xxx.xxx.xxx/255.255.255.0 (Subnet Mask is correct?)

Then I add a domain (previously I create a DNS for this domain with the elastic IP), select the elastic IP instead the local one (79.xxx.xxx.xxx) and I have this problem:

Warning: The domain does not resolve or resolves to another IP address (10.234.xxx.xxx). Please correct DNS settings.

The DNS settings for the domain are correct. All are with the elastic IP...

I know there is an article ID with a solution for this I think (http://kb.odin.com/en/111348) but this only works if you use the Plesk AMI of usa west. If I type:

/usr/local/psa/bin/amazon_setup_ip 79.xxx.xxx.xxx

ubuntu@ip-10-234-xxx-xxx:/var/tmp$ /usr/local/psa/bin/amazon_setup_ip 79.125.6.40
-bash: /usr/local/psa/bin/amazon_setup_ip: No such file or directory

Any help?
