• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • The ImunifyAV extension is now deprecated and no longer available for installation.
Existing ImunifyAV installations will continue operating for three months, and after that will automatically be replaced with the new Imunify extension. We recommend that you manually replace any existing ImunifyAV installations with Imunify at your earliest convenience.

Hello Everyone,

We are facing the issue with all of our windows server running Plesk 9.5 on it.The daily scheduled server backups via Plesk interface also creates reseller and clients backup automatically and show up in there backup manager resulting in the disk usage.

Any help regarding the same shall be highly appreciated.

We have the very same issue on all of our Plesk Windows 9.5 servers.

We have disabled backups in web-interface, but it does not make a difference. I saw many Scheduled Tasks regarding backups for domain #1, domain #2 etc., but we have not specifically configured this.

This is a problem as it causes customers to go over-quota overnight, as the backups are created automatically and not on an external storage.

Please advise

Scheduled Server Backup...

Guys,

This is a very simple stuff to do. We had faced this issue at once after migrating from Plesk 8.x to 9.x

You can disallow scheduled daily server backups disk space calculation server-wide.
1. Login into Plesk, and navigate into 'Settings' on the left menu
2. Under 'General Settings', click on 'Server Settings'
3. Under 'Include in the disk space usage calculation', uncheck 'domain backup files'

This will allow Plesk to exclude the disk space utilized by every reseller/client/domain during statistics calculation.

Cheers,
Balaji
