Joomla 3.1.1 - Error 500

First the original post, which i made in an german joomla support forum, but i could not get any help there, so i post it here,
maybe some of you are abe to speak german

ich werde versuchen mein Problem so gut es geht zu beschreiben.
Ich habe Joomla über den Plesk (ich mag Plesk ) Application Pool installiert auf einem Windows Server 2008 mit IIS.
Funktionierte nach wenig Frickelei alles reibungslos bis ich zu dem Punkt gekommen bin, an dem ich gerne ein anderes Template benutzen würde.
Nachdem ich das Template über "Paketdatei hochladen" installiert habe und es als Standard ausgewählt habe,
bekomme ich immer einen Error500 vom Webserver. Wechsel ich zum standard-template zurück, funktioniert es wieder.

Mein erster Gedanke war, dass es ein Problem mit den Rechten geben könnte.
Also habe ich die Rechte des Ordners des neuen Templates mit den Rechten des Ordners des Standard Templates verglichen.
Diese sind identisch.
Ich habe schon etliche Dinge, die ich über die Googlesuche so gefunden habe, ausprobiert. Leider ohne Erfolg.

Der Php-Error im Log-Verzeichnis von Plesk sagt folgendes:

Leider werde ich daraus nicht unbedingt schlauer und habe nun gehofft,
einer von euch findigen Admins kann mich vielleicht auf die richtige Bahn lenken.
Meine erste Idee danach war, dass es ein Problem mit irgendeinem Pfad gibt, aber wie gesagt,
ich werde nicht wirklich schlau daraus.

I installed Joomla via the Plesk Application Pool, the whole thing went quite smooth. Server is Windows Web Server 2008 IIS with Plesk 10.4.4
The Joomla site work well at the beginning, till i tried to install another template.
If i change the standard template to the new one, i always geht an error 500 on the site.
If i change back to the standard template, the site works well.

First thought was, it has something to do with some rights.
But after comparing the rights of the folder/files of the new and standard template, i determined they are equal.
so i looked at the php error in the plesk log folder.
it shows this:

I dont know, how to solve this problem or where the problem is located, maybe it is related to some pathing problems.
I would be pleased, if someone of you can direct me to the right channels.

Any solution?
I am having similar problems. My host is telling me to get hosted somewhere else.. I don't think it should be that dramatic. Can't joomla work with Plesk?
Why is it so hard. I have installed Joomla 200 times or more using cpanel with no problem ever.
I have been trying to get it to work using plesk for the last 3 days.. 500 error comes up when I try and instal extensions.. I just don't understand.

I think there is some other problem with Joomla that's why it cant work with the plesk.

Hello,

have you tried installing the joomla manually ? I mean without installing it from application? Some time application panel joomla version and available joomla versions can conflicts.
