Login Error after installing plesk 9

Dear Plesk Experts,

After installing the Plesk software I ran into an strange error which I cannot get fixed.
When I open the plesk admin page I receive the following message:

Is anyone familiar with this error?
I have tried to reconfigure the database to several types but without any luck.
