My Experience with MagicSpam: Poor Support and Payment Issues
MagicSpam's support is terrible, and they do not accept credit card payments from Europe.
Since January 1, 2021, all credit card payments in European countries require two-step authentication under PSD2 regulations. MagicSpam's Canadian payment processor does not comply with PSD2, meaning my credit card can no longer be charged. The MagicSpam website does not provide a valid error message in such cases.
When I inquired, the only response I received was that "it didn’t work."
After conducting my own research and contacting my bank, I discovered that MagicSpam's payment processor lacks PSD2 compliance. PSD2 is an essential international standard designed to prevent credit card fraud.
MagicSpam has ignored my emails to support and simply doesn’t respond.
Furthermore, they do not offer alternative payment methods like bank transfers, PayPal, or any other internationally viable options.
While the software itself is fine, the entire MagicSpam team seems unresponsive and unprofessional, neglecting critical customer inquiries.
