Hi Plesk team !
I discover yesterday that I have the possibility to upgrade mariadb 10.3.39 to mariadb 14.4

I did it by following the steps. Once the process completely done, I realizes that major MYSQL request was taking and average of 4 seconds more than usual. Totally insane.

I search in all documentation; eventually boos the database in performance booster without any improvement. I reboot 6 times the server

So fortunately, my cloud was doing daily snapshot, so It tales me again an entire night to restore it.

So except if someone could explain me what I did wrong, DO NOT INSTALL MARIADB 14.4

I have upgraded two servers to MariaDB 11.4 from 10.11 with no issues, but I found the manual instructions found here (click the Manual Procedure tab (instead of using the built in Plesk UI upgrader)).

Both server are running Debian 12.

Presuming here, that you're referring to MariaDB 11.4 as per the thread title (not 14.4 mentioned in your post, which doesn't exist - yet)
We upgraded from MariaDB 10.* a long time ago now (just after Plesk announced it was supporting MariaDB 11.* in fact)
We've had no problems at all (or any experiences like you've posted) with MariaDB, ever since then.
~ DO NOT INSTALL MARIADB 14.4
That maybe your current opinion based on your post / what happened to you, which is understandable.
However, it's quite possible, that your server's pre-existing config and/or how you actually made the upgrade, are the real reasons that you had issues...
