Missing files with migration

Hi,

I am migrating from VZ Plesk 7.5.4 to Plesk 8.0.1.

The migration goes well without any errors (excluding errors of missing tomcat and spamassasin). But some of the domains are missing files. Files are usually gallery files (albums and images) and other files that are in some PHP-software (e.g. dotProject project files).

Usually the files are totally missing, sometimes they are at place but empty (size 0) and sometimes they are just in place but with wrong permissions.

It seems to me that Migration manager isn't able to transfer files with apache:apache(user:group) correcty.

I will soon test that if chmod 744 to all the files to migrate would do the job.

Any help to get the migration go well, would be great.

Thanks!

From server: psa 7.5.4_build75051014.16 os_RedHat el3 - Linux 2.6.9-022stab078.14-enterprise
To server: psa v8.0.1_build80061018.17 os_CentOS 4.2 - Linux 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp

I saw this problem already - SWsoft support should have a solution for it. Briefly - apache-owned site applications files are: 1. not dumped 2. restored with wrong permissions.

In beta updates to Plesk Migration Manager this should be fixed.

Thanks for your reply!

Because I am on hurry and don't want to install beta updates, I will try to chmod all apache:apache files to user:psacln.
