• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Moving VPS Plesk to standalone Plesk

Does anyone have a process that they can share for migrating a Plesk install under a Virtuozzo VPS to a standalone system? I'm not sure how to have the new system work under the old system's IP. Obviously you cannot have two systems with the same IP. The last time I tried messing with IP's it was a disaster.

Like everything else they do, Parallels support is non-existent on this issue. There is some info in the docs on going from standalone to VPS, but not the other way. Since the Plesk apps don't usually work under the VPS, I need to move it to a standalone environment.

It would be nice if the company provided support for the undocumented issues. They don't even have a way to ask for a replacement license.

As a side question, does anyone know of any company which is supporting their software? I would be very open to switch.

You can migrate VPS to physical server with vzv2p Virtuozzo utility ('man vzv2p' for details).
After that you should reconfigure IPs as it is described here - http://kb.odin.com/en/943
