Hi Community

I would like to inform me, if there is a possibility to have multiple Virtual Host Templates.. As i can see in the Template Menue, it isn't possible..

Is there something in work, or will there be no such possibility.

Greetings and kind regards

Raphael Gnaedinger

Could you please describe with more details what do you mean "Multiple Virtual Host Templates"?

For description purpose. Different clients have different virtual host templates, like:

Client 1: (Template 1)
/httpdocs
/error_docs

Client 2: (Template 2)
/httpsdocs
/error_docs

Client 3: (Template 3)
/httpdocs
/cgi-bin

Client 4: (Template 4)
/httpdocs
/error_docs
/httpsdocs
/data

So, in this example i do have 4 different templates.. Is this possible?

Greetings and Regards

Raphael G.

There is no such possibility but theoretically you can create different skeletons (default is /var/www/vhosts/.skel/0/) and with some script select it with Event for domain/client creation.

but you have domain templates, but no virtual host template.. okay.. i think over the skeleton you described..

I think, this could be a development request for a later release..

don't you think?

I have submitted request to development team regarding your question and description. I hope that it will be implemented to the one of next Plesk versions.
