Does anybody know whether Windows Plesk 7.56 supports My SQL 5 ?

You mention MySQL 5 support is possible by having "external" and then you point to documentation which doesn't say absolutely anything about "external" e-mail server support. In fact SWSoft has a knowledgebase article posted on their web site which explicitly states that MySQL 5 support IS NOT POSSIBLE with Plesk 7.5.x:
