Mysql dead and cant restart it

Hi

I have suddenly lost mysqld.
When I try to start it, it says :

[root@yoohosting init.d]# ./mysqld start
touch: cant make touch on `/var/log/mysqld.log': Read only
chmod: modification of permissions of `/var/log/mysqld.log': Read only
chmod: modification of permissions of `/var/lib/mysql': Read only
Démarrage de MySQL : [ OK ]
touch: cant make touch on `/var/log/mysqld.log': Read only

And I have this :

[root@yoohosting init.d]# ./mysqld status
mysqld is dead but subsys is locked

What can I do?

Have you tried stopping it first, or just restarting it?

service mysqld restart

I tried to stop it and it failed because already dead I think.

anyway, after a reboot and a technician support the server is back again...

I will try to find out the problem
