Hi,
Few days back my plesk crashed and I have reinstalled it. Now I am able to access plesk, but when I try to access Domains I get error -

MySQL query failed: Unknown column 'fastcgi' in 'field list'

I think my plesk database is corrupt. Please guide me to solve the issue

Thanks

I have the exact same error/problem. I've done a lot of searching around but can't seem to find an answer on how to fix this. This happend after I upgraded to plesk 8.1.

Thanks for any and all help.

Same here, i upgrade to 8.1 it still show 8.01 not 8.1 and some functions give errors and the domains the same error mentioned here in the post. I cannot believe how bad Plesk went in just 2 years, there isnt a single upgrade you can run from the updater without messing the whole software.

I found that that error is actually pretty easy to fix. You have to login to the main database, then the psa database, then the hosting field and add that field. After that it will work. But I found that a lot of other stuff was missing and I had to add it back. It's a pain, but it will work.

Well could you post what are you doing?
Actually i see most functions dont work, they all give some kind of database error.

I'll detail out the steps later. I need to look them up again. It's easiest if you use a GUI database tool like phpmyadmin to make the repairs.

I can tell you that going to 8.1, even after fixing issues, was not worth the headache. I still have things that do not work and I cannot find the cause. The upgrade killed my spamassassin and database which I had to rebuild from scratch, among many other things. There are a LOT of bugs in 8.1 with very little support from what I can tell.

I highly suggest going back to 8.0 if you can. That's what I finally did.
