Hi,
i am new to PLESK and would like to ask some questions. I have a new Server, Debian Sarge with PLESK 7.5, and I would like to run a Website on it. I managed to get the DNS worked out from my external Domain and now its connecting to the Server. But one questions, I have one user there now, that I created for my Domain, in PLESK. Now, when you would now enter the Domain in a Browser, you would come to the httdocs Folder, and when you would put your website in there, it would show up. But I created a Webuser, which I want to run this Website. So, it created a Folder for the new Webuser, but the Domain is only connecting on the part where httdocs is, not where the Webuser is set. Why ?
I also would like to know how I can get the Mails running ? I mean, i added a Email and a Alias, but what are the values for POP3 + SMTP ? I mean, since my Domain is at an other hoste than the Server, do I have to set also the DNS for my mail to my Root Server, set it in the DNS Settings of my Domain Provider ?
I am a little bit lost with all this
, and I do not good with reading Manuals, I can do better when someone helps me once and I know what and how. I would like to have some help if someone could do explain that for me.
