Resolved Need some help

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone can help me with this but will try to explain.

I installed the wordpress application through the panel and it seems every time I want to go to my domain example: www.example.com/ I would need to punch in www.example.com/wordpress for my domain to work. I know deletion of Wordpress and reinstalling it might work but I don't want to lose what I started on my website through Wordpress. Not sure what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.
