• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Domain will not show up anywhere but on the server?

This sounds so basic and dumb, which is why I'm so puzzled. I have a company I'm working with, who just bought a new Domain from GoDaddy. I changed the DNS to point to my server over a week ago. I used Plesk 8.3 on my Windows server to add the domain. I set up the domain, and I can "preview site" where I see the default html page. But that's ON the sever, while I'm working off the server, I just get the Address not Found. Firefox cannot find the host server for...

What am I missing here? Any help would be great, thanks so much!

does the dns resolve if you do a dig or nslookup on it?

Chris,

Did you checked that hostname is really resolvable to IP that was assigned to this domain in Plesk?

First of all make sure that domain resolves to IP address pointed to Plesk server:
> nslookup domain.com

if it is not resolved at all, get the list of authoritative DNS servers and refer to your Registrar to correct DNS setting for the domain:
> whois doman.com
