hi,
Using PLESK-12.08 for quite a bit of time after upgrading from 11.5 version.
We have a problem where user's Sasl_auth parameters are stolen and the hackers use those user/password pairs to send outgoing spam. This is happening since version 11.5 and nothing appropriate could be done.
The psychology is that the sasl_username is correct but the actual sender email address is something different in all such cases. I have had suggested in Plesk panel for the same to verify the outgoing sender whether it matches to the sasl_username value or not. I'm not going to touch it till there is something proven available.
Regards,
Nasir
