• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

Space Monkey

Basic Pleskian
I'm very happy with Plesk and even switched over completely to it on all sites but unfortunately if errors arise I'm a total noob when it comes to Linux.

So I checked my spam folder today and had 122 messages send through the server stating:
PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

Non stop it keeps sending me this.

Googled it and still have no clue on how to fix it as I need a step by step answer.

I'm on the latest Plesk Onyx and OS=Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS‬.

It's send from:
Code:
Cron <root@server>   [ -x /usr/lib/php/sessionclean ] && /usr/lib/php/sessionclean

And I read I had to put php --ini in the console and this was the result:

Code:
PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

So as I'm running php 7.3 I hoped when I uninstalled php 7.0 in plesk it would go away but unfortunately it didn't.

Someone willing to guide me how to fix this?

Cheers.

Tried some things still getting bombarded with email, come on, tried vultr helpdesk, stack, here, no1 got an answer I can use..

Not sure if you still need help or not, but having some experience with php.ini, I can say that what MarkM said is what's happening. Specifically, you have "extension=imagick.so" twice - either twice in the same file or in two different files (eg in php.ini and again in imagick.ini). Double check both php.ini and imagick.ini and make sure that only one of them contains the line "extension=imagick.so" (and that it only occurs once in either file).
