• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 10 error creating subdomains

I recently migrated to Plesk 10 from 8.

Subdomains that migrated work okay.

I cannot successfully create a functional subdomain in Plesk 10. It does not create any root directory /httpdocs

I can log in SSH or FTP and manually create that directory but it is not recognized and files there don't resolve in a web browser. An index file where cgi-bin etc are also does not work.

In one case the base domain has a .htaccess file to 301 redirect to another domain but even the subdomain is redirecting and that should not happen as entering the subdomain URL should never see the main domain pages.

Did you read documentation about new structure of webspaces in Plesk 10.x?
