• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk 11.0.9: Automatic update #61 to #62 breaks web site

Hello

---------------------------------------------------------------
Plesk Panel, 11.0.9, Update #61, Centos 6.3, x64

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

One of our Plesk panels micro-updated from Update #61 to #62 on 25th July. This resulted in an error on the front page of the web site, reporting that the PHP session path functionality was broken.

As this is a production web site, we rapidly rolled the site back to the prevous backup, and after confirming the issue coincided with update #62, disabled automatic Plesk micro updates.

Is this a session path break a known issue? And if so, is there a safe way to re-enable auto updates so Plesk can be updated for security without breaking the production web site?

Many thanks in a advance.
