Plesk 12 ProFTPD FTPS (SSL/TLS) Handshake Delay Results in Slow Directory Browsing

pleskpanel

Regular Pleskian
We have been seeing FTPS browsing delays as replicated and resolved in the ProFTPD 1.3.5 bug ticket (http://bugs.proftpd.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4108) which was marked as resolved on 2014-09-24. Will the Plesk package be updating ProFTPD now that the bug has been squashed?

On a side note, mod_delay is turned off in addition to ident/reverse DNS lookups.

Plesk has 1.3.5 version of psa-proftpd package now:

# rpm -qi psa-proftpd
Name : psa-proftpd Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 1.3.5 Vendor: Parallels

Is it ok for you?

Based on our latest investigation into this, all of our fully patched Plesk 12.x servers are running proftpd 1.3.5-cos6.build1200140529.18 so it must not be the original problem that we had thought.

Only one of them (with an identical firewall configuration) seems to have the delayed directory browsing issue using FTPS (it doesn't fail but it takes 5-7 seconds to display the directories) but via normal FTP there is no delay at all. IdentLookups and UseReverseDNS are set to off and passive ports are working fine as normal FTP connections have no delay at all.

Any insight as to why this might be?
