  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Plesk / cPanel questions

patkeiman95

New Pleskian
Hello,
I am already running a "hosting" service on VPS system. Right now, I am doing everything manually, by setting up the disk space and apache manually. What I am missing is
  • Setting up real quota for a user
  • Allowing user to access "their" data via FTP
Thats why I am considering installing cPanel or Plesk on next VPS server. The first obvious question is: Is one of them going to resolve my problem?
Also, is there still possibility to have full control from adiministrative point of view?
Last question is about pricing - right now, I have about 100 users using my VPS for hosting their sites. What kind of plan should I be looking at?
Thanks a lot for answers 10.0.0.0.1
