• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Plesk deleting my log files

I have a virtual dedicated server on GoDaddy. Plesk 8.3 was a free option when I got the server set up, so I added it but never use it. Now I'm troubleshooting a site issue and have noticed that only 5 days of IIS web logs are being stored. I'm trying to figure out if I can get that data or at least if I can stop the deleting for the future.

Plesk only has one domain configured and it's not the affected one. Even on the one configured domain, log rotation is disabled. Does Plesk delete log files even if log rotation is disabled? If so, that seems like a terrible feature; has it been fixed in later versions than 8.3?
