• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk Failing

I wonder if anyone could tell me why PLESK fails when I copy some files from one web domain to another.

By failing I mean crashing the whole server every service and every domain, this is the situation I am in with my dedicated server.

It seems to me to be a ridiculous situation that such a profound effect can be made on a servers functionality.

I repeat this was caused by copying files from domain1/httpdocs to domain2/httpdocs/

In normal circumstances this would not disable a server or even just the web aspect of a server let alone ftp, mail, web. ssh and also complete failure of the plesk control panel
