• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk + Tomcat running on port 80

Hello,

Is there any way to make Tomcat in plesk listen on port 80- along with apache? Before we migrated to plesk we had this script JSVC that along with special user privileges allowed tomcat to run on a privvy port (like port 80) and we would set up listeners in the server.xml section that would then take over port 80 (without an apache passing along requests..) I wonder if any of you guys have some insight into a fix for this...

thanks,

Hey, im trying to configure Plesk 8 to fix it so it works on port 80. You mean that is not a default function and my server is ok not being able to run Tomcat on port 80 or it should and my Plesk 8 has some bug or error?
