• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk URL and 1&1

Hello,

I've been setting up a new server I recently ordered from 1&1 and everything is going fine (after a fashion) however I have one last thing that I simple cannot sort out.

When I go to http://www.mydomain:8443 it will automatically change to a bizarre address under the pureserver.info domain name that 1&1 point at their German website. No matter what I do I cannot stop this happening. I've changed the reverse mapping for the IP addresses for the server and there is no trace anywhere in Plesk or the 1&1 account management page that even mentions the pureserver.info domain - why does it keep doing it?

I hunted through the forums but didn't find anything to explain it. Anyone got any ideas? How do I change it's path so that it stays how I want it too?
