• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

post your linux load average!

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

What's a good load average for a Linux server running Plesk?

Here is mine right now:
# uptime
05:07:22 up 3 days, 4:12, 3 users, load average: 0.14, 0.49, 0.68

Now it's pretty low, but sometimes it gets very high, around 20.

What's a reasonable level before planning a migration to a faster server?

Thanks.

Mine is low right at the moment as well

03:52:45 up 3 days, 18:19, 5 users, load average: 0.19, 0.05, 0.01

My philosophy is: as soon as I put a new box into production, I start looking for the next higher level immediately. And never short change your own server hardware, larger L2 caches are good, HT is good, etc....
