Hi,

i have trouble in sending eMails with Qmail.

Fresh Install of Ples Onyx 17.8.11 on Ubuntu 18.04, after a crashed other Server
@mail + Dovecot

set up all Domains an EMails manually
transfer old Mails in var/qmail/mailnames

started Plesk Repair Kit no changes

checked mxtoolbox

ping b.de on the server i working

i have no idea, can somebody help?

• b.de is on your server?
• does # dig MX b.de +short give you any output?
• does it also fail if you send from b.de to b.de?

Hi, thank you for replying, i've got it.

checked ping and wget for testing if my server resolve domains, thats fine, but it would be better to use nslookup, theres no domain rsolved.

its a bug in ubuntu 18.04 installation

Fixed it like that, now everything is fine

Wrong nameserver set by resolvconf and NetworkManager

sudo rm -f /etc/resolv.conf
sudo ln -s /run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
reboot

DNS=ip1,ip2,ip3
service systemd-resolved restart
