Qmail makes trouble: CNAME_lookup_failed_temporarily._(#4.4.3)

hello
since hours i get this error on my system:

qmail dont send more any mails out to non hosted domains on my server. i the log i see the following:

Jun 18 20:46:23 dreambox qmail: 1150656383.159690 delivery 119: deferral: CNAME_lookup_failed_temporarily._(#4.4.3)/


i have:
- Suse 9.1
- Qmail 1.03
- Plesk 7.5.4 with latest patches


any ideas?

First thing I would check is if your server is having a problem resolving domain names. (ie. a DNS lookup problem)

I'm not familiar with Suse, but on RedHat type distros I would check the contents of /etc/resolv.conf
