• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Resolved Replacing MariaDB with Percona on CentOS7

jsmith

New Pleskian
I'm quite new to Plesk and I have few questions.

Is possible to safely remove plesk-mysql-server with RPM packager and install it with yum right after?
I have replaced MariaDB with Percona and yum check returns following:

plesk-mysql-server-17.5.3-cos7.build1705170317.16.x86_64 has missing requires of mariadb-server >= ('0', '5.0.60', None)

I have also seen this support suggestion:
Unable to install Plesk with pre-installed MySQL 5.6: Failed to solve dependencies

Thing is that I already had MariaDB and Plesk installed. How can I reinstall Plesk easy way? My installation is fresh and I do not need to backup, I just have to keep licence key and reinstall plesk-mysql-server to not depend on mariadb.
