Hi, what requirements must have a server to handle 1000 websites?
Point out that the server is on a virtual instance HyperV or VMWare cloud and can reach a maximum of:
8 cpu
ram 32 gb
Disk Space 2000 GB (4 x 500)

best linux 32 or 64 bit?
or better windows?

For 1000 websites it's enough to have 1 2.4 Ghz cpu w/ 2 cores. 8 gb ram and 100Gb of disk space.
It's better to use linux x64. Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.6 is the best virtualization platform for Web Presence Builder.
