• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

I clicked to upgrade our Plesk from 7.5.2 to 7.5.3 in the panel. After about 2 hours, the Plesk panel was still unresponsive, so I restarted the server , and now it doesn't boot at all.

Our server is running Linux Fedora core. Booting with the rescue images works.

Is their anything I can do other than reimaging the serer?

Thanks.

The OS not being able to boot should have nothing to do with a Plesk upgrade. Plesk doesn't mess with any system files needed to boot, so I'd say you have another problem there.

What errors do you get when trying to boot normally? Is it a boot loader problem, or something else?
