Restoring a backup from an older OS?

I'm curently using a server loaded with Red Hat 7.3, I'm thinking about moving to a better server based on a more recent Red Hat enterprise OS. Will I be able to restaure a backup from my old server to the new one or everything will be messed up?

Yes, it will work, but you should use the same version (7.5.3 for example) of Plesk on both servers, and the same version of the backup utilities.
