• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
    To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Server Hostname

Hello,
That means the domain name is not resolved. For example if your domain name: domain com, the following command must return something look like:

$ host domain.com
domain.com has address 216.34.94.177
domain.com mail is handled by 10 sentry.domainbank.com.

If you domain is not resolved, you get:

$ host yourdomainwhichisnotresolved.com
Host yourdomainwhichisnotresolved.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Either your dns servers do not work or external dns server do not work. To find out which of them serve your domain, run:

# whois domain.com
....
Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.DOMAIN.COM
NS2.DOMAIN.COM
NS3.DOMAIN.COM

This servers serve your domain. Try to connect to them to 53 (dns) port:

~$ telnet NS1.DOMAIN.COM 53
Trying 72.5.54.12...
Connected to NS1.DOMAIN.COM.
Escape character is '^]'.

If you connect, then it is something wrong with dns configuration. If you do not connect, so, either firewall blocks it or dns server(s) is(are) not running.
